Quinceañera /
Sweet 16

Mass of Thanksgiving, where the young woman/men thanks God for the gift of life and asks for guidance as she continues to grow in faith. The celebration usually reflects themes of faith, family, gratitude, and commitment to Christian values.

REQUIREMENTS

Required Sacramental Documents
The following certificates must be submitted and on file with the parish:

  • Baptism Certificate

  • First Communion Certificate

  • Confirmation Certificate

If the young person has not received one or more of these sacraments, please contact the Office Secretary. 

Quinceañera Class
The young person and at least one parent are required to attend the Quinceañera preparation class. Attendance is mandatory.

Family Interview with the Priest
A family meeting (parents and young person) with the pastor will be scheduled once the required documents and class requirement have been completed.

Language Requirement
The Quinceañera class is conducted in Spanish. If the participant is more comfortable in English, please contact the office secretary for available options.

Scheduling & Deposit
A deposit is required to reserve the Mass date. The date will be scheduled AFTER completion of the required documents, class, and priest interview.
